MERCEDES-BENZ 600 (W100)

Mercedes

Car No. 11

1969

Motor: 6,3 L

Production started up in 1964 and continued through 1981 as a 4-door ultra luxury saloon car.

Generally, this short-wheel-base (SWB) model was mostly designed to be owner-driven whereas the longer version long-wheel-base (LWB) and limousine models were mostly driven by chauffeurs and the cabin was divided into two separate cabins – a front chauffeur cabin and a rear exclusive passenger cabin.

During the many years of production, it was supplied to famous presidents, governmental people, artists, actors, and businesspeople worldwide. It was produced in a limited number (around 2.700 specimens).

This Mercedes model was one of the world’s most expensive and exclusive cars during the 60’s.

It is equipped with Becker stereo radio, refrigerated champagne bar, air-conditions, tinted windows, air hydraulic suspension, etc. I bought it from the Danish Ferrari importer back in 2006 and we use it for exclusive airport pick-ups, etc.
