One of the vehicles that should make an alternative to the very popular VW Beetle in Brazil was this VW Variant – very similar in construction to the European VW Type 3 model.

It became popular due to its large rear luggage compartment.

This is a one-owner vehicle which I bought in Sao Paolo, Brazil, from an old married couple who used this as a delivery van for selling their eggs from their farm a bit outside Sao Paolo. It has long distance optical units for driving at night and original radio and still it is in its original colour beige with black leatherette interior.
