The Porsche 993 2S is with 2WD and a wider body shell as per the Turbo models, however, engine remained the 3,6 l M64 with 285 hp. The suspension was slightly lowered on the 2S versions.
Carrera S is one of the most valuable 993 va-
riants and amounts to only 1.752 vehicles and just produced for the 1997 model year.
History
This vehicle was in March 1997. It is supplied in artic silver with black leather seats.
It was supplied to Spain but after just approx. 60.000 km with a happy Spanish owner it had a had an accident with a total damage on the chassis but no damages on the engine, rear axle, suspension, etc.
As Porsche Carrera 2S shared its body with the Porsche 993 Turbo, Porsche was lucky to have one complete body shell available on stock – the very last one. As such this car was completely taken apart and rebuilt as a brand-new Porsche, but with the same low mileage engine. It has been updated with new Classic stereo, but original Porsche radio has been kept for the history of the car. It was supplied with the below accessories:
- Air-conditioning
- Extra brake light in the rear-view window
- Electrical sunroof
- 40% differential
- Wiper arm in rear window
This vehicle smells and looks like a brand-new vehicle just delivered car from Porsche AG. One of the loveliest Porsche 993 ever produced, and today a valuable collector’s item.
