This soft Targa version comes from the 1967 production run, the only year the Targa model was introduced as “soft”.
This vehicle was restored some years ago, and it still appears in its original Irish green colour, no. 6606, with black leather sports seats.
I have a copy of the Porsche cardex card indicating that it has a matching no. engine.
From new, it was equipped with a Blaupunkt radio and a highly sought-after outdoor thermometer. Extra long-distance lamps were installed some years after its original production date.
History
The car was originally sold in Salzburg to the director of Porsche, Michael Piech, and for that reason, it has been exceptionally well-maintained.
I purchased this beautiful car through a German classic car dealer in January 2024, and with its excellent condition, it is very enjoyable to drive, although the 2.0 l standard engine output is only 110 hp.
The car still has its German registration today, but I will have it registered with Danish license plates as soon as possible.
